SAYFSM educates the community about HIV prevention, presenting at community events, churches,
and schools. It develops culturally and linguistically appropriate HIV-educational materials and
provides HIV counseling, testing, and referral (CTR) at all outreach events, at the SAYFSM office,
or at places of an individual’s choosing.
To meet the needs of refugees, SAYFSM provides orientation to new arrivals from Africa in
partnership with Lutheran Social Service, Minnesota Council of Churches, and World Relief,
three of Minnesota's volunteer resettlement agencies.
