An HIV diagnosis is frightening and presents many challenges. Our Peer Advocates will listen to your concerns and help you overcome the obstacles keeping you from getting the medical care and social services you need to live well.
It also focuses on individuals who are at a high risk for HIV infection, encourages testing, and provides risk reduction education. This addresses the concern that HIV+ individuals who are not aware of their status will continue to spread the infection.
